Hello, and welcome to my website.

My name is Faith aka Imani, and I decided to create this website not only to share my journey through serious health challenges but also the lessons I’ve learned and still learning as I continue to navigate my health and wellness goals about living fully and completely, no matter what.

This site is dedicated to anyone facing similar hurdles, and it’s designed to help you live your best life, informed by the latest scientific insights and practical solutions. Although this website is about things relating to women’s health, men too can learn from this to help the women in your life and you may even find something here for yourself too that can help you on your own health and wellness journey.

My Story

In 1999 just before the turn of the new century, my life took a drastic turn. At nearly 200 pounds standing at 5′ 3″ tall, I was struggling with obesity and a host of health issues, including IBS, raging blood sugars, as well as high blood pressure. I had also been diagnosed some years back with sickle cell trait. When my doctor told me, “If you don’t change your lifestyle, you won’t live to see your next birthday,” I knew I had to take my health into my own hands.

Since then, I’ve walked a path full of setbacks and successes, I have seen many summers and feel like I’ve lived several lives during this one life time. I had been busy working, being a mother and balancing family life with goals dreams and vision. I had gotten so busy with life that I forgot that I was at the centre of my life and that I needed to practice selfcare and self love. Somehow in all my busy-ness I had forgotten to include exercise and eating a healthy balanced diet. To be honest I did not know what a healthy balanced diet was I had tried the raw food diet, keto diet, always diets that told me to leave things out, rather than keep things balanced.

I have come to realise that we need all three macros, fats, carbs & Protein. Fruits provides us with our antioxidants and vitamins, vegetables give us our minerals, fiber and Phytochemicals, whilst protein offers us amino acids. At this time of writing I am blessed that I am medication-free, but I know I still have room to improve—through better nutrition, a more consistent exercise routine, and a holistic approach to healing.

I created this website to be more than a collection of tips; it’s a commitment to sharing the most cutting-edge, scientifically-backed information on becoming strong, healthy and creating a health plan that suits you. A plan that will help you achieve your health goals particularly for women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond, so that as you age you get better and better aligning with the needs of that phase of your health and wellness journey. Here, you won’t find a space for self-pity or slowing down. Instead, this blog is about empowering ourselves to live our fullest lives, equipped with the best health practices available today.

I promise to stay up-to-date with the latest in health science, from nutritional advancements to fitness innovations and breakthroughs in somatic healing. My goal is to make sure that we always have access to reliable, science-based information that can truly make a difference in all our lives.

Living with health challenges or facing the realities of aging doesn’t mean we have to slow down. This website is about redefining what’s possible, pushing boundaries, and reclaiming our health and happiness. I’m living proof that you can turn things around when death stares you in the face. It is never too late to achieve your health goals. Health is not something you get done and now that’s out of the way. It is a life time pursuit, it is something you practice daily. Don’t be like me in my younger years where I forgot to add myself and my health goals to my list of priorities. Take care of yourself first, before taking care of everyone else and everything you do will be better.
